The main road runs over the Khanh Le Pass (route 27C): about 135 km and 3–3.5 hours. The first half is flat, then the road climbs almost 1,500 m in switchbacks with views over jungle and clouds. Leave in the morning — fog often comes in the mountains by evening.
Which car to choose
A crossover with good clearance is most comfortable on the mountain road: the Hyundai Creta or Mitsubishi Xforce. Families can take the 7-seat Toyota Rush or Veloz. With an EV, plan a charging stop.
Rental terms for the trip
